Thurgau Hiking Round Trail

Since 1980, the Canton Thurgau has a well-marked 200 km circular hiking route.
The old circular hiking route has been prolonged in cooperation with its designers and since 1995, the new circular route is open, signaled with arrows and marked as «Rundwanderweg» (circular hiking route).

24 stages
A subdivision of the circular route into 24 stages of 2.7 to 13.8 km length allows the hikers to design their individual programs according to their personal fitness or the time available. All starting points and destinations are accessible by public transport.

Marking of the route
Brown signposts with the imprint «Thurgauer Rundwanderweg» complete the system of yellow signs. On the route, no new markings were added; the official yellow signs are valid here.
